SHOOTING IN MANUAL, BASICS (3 HOUR WORKSHOP) $150/attendee The purpose of this workshop is to learn how to use the manual function on your DSLR. Topics include aperture, shutter speed, white balance, iso, raw vs. jpeg, lighting, focal points. We will use your hostesses home (hopefully outdoors if the weather cooperates) and practice shooting in manual with your DSLR. Requirements: DSLR camera, I strongly recommend at least 50 1.8 lens (usually around $100-$150) to get the most out of the workshop. Your lens determines your aperture. * Hosted at hostesses home. * Free for the hostess. Must have a minimum of 4 pre-paid attendees, not including hostess, maximum 8 workshop attendees. * A no pressure, casual way to learn how to make use of your camera with family or friends! EDITING IS FUN! (3 HOUR WORKSHOP) $150/attendee The purpose of this workshop is to learn what you can do with your images after you take them in manual and in RAW. Prior knowledge of shooting in manual (see above) is required in order for this information to be relevant. We will use your hostesses home (hopefully outdoors if the weather cooperates) and practice with your DSLR. We will then take your images, upload them into Lightroom, and provide you with ideas for editing options.
